FRONT OFFICE/RECEPTION

We are delighted to welcome you to the Family Practice

office of Dr. Rudman in the heart of Navarre. You will be greeted by Tammy, our front office specialist, who will be able to check you in and verify your insurance. This is your point of contact with our office. If you have any questions, if you need to reschedule an appointment or get worked in for an emergency, this is who you need! When calling our office, press "0" for this option. Tammy will be glad to find a time to suit your needs.

REFERRAL COORDINATOR/NURSE

We have the luxury of having Penny, a talented RN, on our staff specifically to help coordinate care with other offices and specialists, especially for our Tricare beneficiaries. Penny also can assist you with any test results or refill requests you may have. Consider our RN to be your bridge between your visit with the doctor and any issues or questions you may have before or after the visit. For this option, press "3"from our automated system.

MEDICAL ASSISTANT

Dr. Rudman is pleased to have Catie work as his medical assistant. A local who knows the area, Catie was well known herself as a mainstay at Dr. Tran's office. Our assistant works directly with the physician and will register your vitals and run any tests ordered by the doctor. The medical assistant will address any needs you have during your visit and is directly involved in your visit with the doctor. If you are returning a call specifically from the MA, press "1". All other calls should ask for the RN in order to be processed quickly and efficiently.

FRONT OFFICE/APPOINTMENT SCHEDULER

When your visit is complete, Gina will be glad to schedule any followup visits you may need. She will also be the person who calls you with your friendly reminder about your visit. A new addition to our staff, she is aware of the high level of quality we demand- she has known our office for over 15 years!

FAMILY  NURSE PRACTITIONER

I am proud to announce that Sherrie Koenigseder, APRN, will be joining our practice at Holley Navarre Medical Clinic. Sherrie has over five years’ experience in family practice right here in Navarre and is an active member of our community. I first met Sherrie when she and her family volunteered to help my family lay wreaths at Wreaths Across America, and I was impressed by her dedication to our military families. She is also a strong advocate for patients’ rights!

Sherrie is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Due to Sherrie's experience and education, the State of Florida has approved her for Autonomous Practice Privileges for Primary Care. Primary care practice includes physical and mental health promotion, assessment, evaluation, disease prevention, health maintenance, counseling, patient education, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses, inclusive of behavioral and mental health conditions. Sherrie is also a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Psychiatric Nurses Association, and the Obesity Medicine Association.

Prior to advancing her career to a NP, Sherrie gained years of experience as a Registered Nurse with a BSN. She was a charge nurse for an acute psychiatric unit where she worked with some of our most mentally-ill patients. She has treated patients with suicidal and homicidal thoughts, delusions, psychosis, and addictions. She has a clear understanding of Florida's Baker Act and Marchman Act processes. She has also worked for the University of West Florida as an adjunct instructor, where she educated our Bachelor of Science in Nursing Students in mental health, which included simulation training and taking students to mental health facilities for their clinical training. Sherrie was also a Certified Medical-Surgical Nurse where she cared for hospitalized patients with advanced chronic diseases, infectious diseases, post-surgical complications, cancer, and acute diseases and injuries. In these roles, Sherrie has had the opportunity to learn from some of our area's most respected physicians.

BILLING

Our billing is handled essentially "in-house", locally. Your charges are filed electronically where possible to protect your privacy. If you do not understand your bill, or if you are having a problem with your insurance, we ask that you call your insurance company first. Every insurance is different, and they are best equipped to explain why they did or did not pay for a service. If you still have questions after contacting your carrier, you may press "5"to leave a message for Sophie, our biller.
